Main office is located at 6127 South Valley Pike, Mount Crawford, VA 22841Parent Company - Comfort Systems USA (https://comfortsystemsusa.com/) Primary Purpose of this position:Install, startup and commission commercial/industrial HVAC equipment.Specific Job Duties:Follow and adhere to all company safety requirements and processesInstall per manufacturer specifications and company policies:Manual dampers and supporting hardwareFlex and sheet metal ductwork and associated duct fittings in light commercial and residential buildingsCopper refrigerant lines to air conditioning units, including brazing and solderingHVAC related equipment including split systems and roof top units up to 20 tonsDesign/draw necessary duct fittings in the field to facilitate installationWire both low and line voltage to cooling and heating equipmentPre-measure jobs to determine material required for installationReceive material and equipment required for each job, confirm accuracy and transport to job siteEnsure proper installation of gas line connections to heating equipmentComplete readings on machines and take necessary steps based on readingsAccurately complete required job documentation in a timely mannerWork with other team members and departments to meet job/project deadlines and specificationsFormal education, certifications and/or experience required:Must hold a Universal Refrigerant Certificate or be willing to obtain 1-3 years' experience of HVAC Installation Other Requirements:Punctual and regular attendanceAbility to work on a team and interact with peopleStrong verbal and written communication skillsStrong mechanical aptitude and knowledge of various HVAC equipmentMust have the ability to travel to job sitesValid driver's license and ability to meet company driver qualification policy
