  Our industrial client in the Siouxland area has opened a position for a Service Tech/ Warehouse Tech to assist with Computer assemble projects. The Service/ Warehouse Technician will test computer systems and components such as processors, circuit boards, memory devices etc.   This is an entry level position in the world of Service/ Warehouse Technicians.     ** THIS IS A PYSICAL POSITION. * Valid DLS is required. Must clear criminal background check and drug test.  Service Tech Responsibilities are, however, not limited to: 
  1. Diagnose malfunctions of computer hardware for the purpose of determining the appropriate parts needed for the repair of the computer.
  2. Orders necessary parts via multiple vendor websites, adhering to the policies and procedures specific to each one.
  3. Knowledge of various tools and techniques involved in computer repair.
  4. Ability to disassemble and assemble a wide variety of computers for repair purposes.
  5. Maintain accurate repair records using designated applications provided.
  6. Participates in all aspects of shipping, receiving, organizing, and storing of goods in the warehouse.
  7. Ability to manage the installation of custom images on several computers simultaneously.
  8. Ability to work with limited supervision daily.
  9. Ability to perform inventory counts and audits as needed.
  10. Ability to perform data collection and recording.
  Qualifications and Education Requirements: 
  1. A+ certification or technical certification preferred NOT required. 
  2. Associate’ s degree or minimum of two years’ computer repair experience preferred NOT required.
  3. Knowledge of basic computer imaging processes utilizing Ghost.
  4. A good knowledge of different computer components to assemble and disassemble a wide variety of computers a must.
  5. Basic understanding of shipping and receiving processes.
  6. Must be able to lift 50-75 lbs. repetitively. 
  7. Able to meet warehouse demands.
  Hours: Mon – Fri 8: 00 AM – 5: 00 PM   What you will make as a Service Tech   Starting pay $15  IMKO Pays Weekly on Fridays!
