Service Technician - 1st Shift - Charlotte NC

Nesco Resource is now hiring for First Shift Service Technician positions at a facility in Charlotte NC. 

The Service Technician is responsible for installing, troubleshooting, repairing and maintaining bandsaw machinery to ensure optimal equipment performance. This role supports customers through field service, equipment training, and technical assistance while maintaining accurate service records. The position requires strong mechanical and electrical aptitude, a commitment to safety, and the ability to worki independently and as a part of a team. Travel may be required to provide on-site customer support and service. 

Pay: 
This is a Direct Placement position with a starting pay of $20.00 to $22.00 per hour

Shift: 
This is a First Shift position

Job Requirements: 

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required, technical training preferred
• Experience in industrial maintenance, machine service, or a related mechanical field preferred
• Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical schematics and drawings
• Basic understanding of electrical and mechanical systems; PLC knowledge is a plus
• Proficiency using hand tools, precision measuring instruments, and diagnostic equipment
• Strong troubleshooting, communication and organizational skills
• Basic computer proficiency and accurate recordkeeping abilitites
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
• Valid drivers license with the ability to travel as needed 
• Strong time management skills and commitment to workplace safety

• Install, inspect, troubleshoot and repair bandsaw machinery at customer locations and in-house
• Assist with equipment modifications, customer training, and technical support
• Participate in ongoing skills development and monthly training programs
• Support warehouse operations and other assigned duties
• Maintain a safe, clean and organized work environment
• Ability to bend, kneel, squat and perform repetative physical tasks throughout the workday
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
• Frequent travel may be required based on customer needs
