DEPARTMENT:Service
REPORTS TO:Service Manager
EMPLOYMENT STATUS:Full Time




Position Summary: Service Technician is responsible for performing routine preventative maintenance, troubleshooting industrial equipment, mechanisms, mechanical systems and electrical circuits, providing information and recommending services to the sales team. This person will work both in house and also travel to customer facilities. If you have experience in mechanical, commercial or industrial maintenance we can train you in servicing our specialty in house-built equipment. Integrated Automation Systems is a Family-owned business located in Solon Ohio. We are a leader in producing specialized equipment primarily for the glass industry. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Install or upgrade equipment in various field locations.
  • Perform service, routine maintenance, repair and installation on glass handling equipment.
  • Testing equipment to troubleshoot the issues.
  • Documenting installation repairs.
  • Provide phone support when necessary.
  • Help build equipment in house.
  • Manage work orders (paper and digital) for each job in a timely manner.
  • Follow company and Osha safety rules and guidelines.
  • Able to lift minimum of 50lbs

 

Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)

  • Some experience in mechanical, commercial, and/or industrial maintenance.
  • Skilled in the repair and maintenance of automated industrial equipment.
  • Hands on experience in electrical repair and use of hand tools.
  • Hydraulics and pneumatics knowledge a plus.
  • Motivated and energetic self-starter who is a natural problem solver.
  • A strong communicator with solid people skills.
  • High School or equivalent required.
  • Driver's license required.
