We are seeking a skilled Service Technician to join a growing commercial field service team in the Chesterland, Ohio area. This position is responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing mechanical and electromechanical equipment at customer locations throughout the region.

The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, comfortable working independently in the field, and experienced troubleshooting equipment in commercial or industrial environments. Candidates from field service, industrial maintenance, mechanical repair, facilities, construction, or related skilled trades backgrounds are encouraged to apply.

Job Details

Key Responsibilities

• Perform service, maintenance, repairs, and installation of commercial and industrial equipment
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and electromechanical equipment issues
• Diagnose equipment failures and determine appropriate repair solutions
• Complete preventative maintenance and scheduled service at customer locations
• Respond to emergency and unscheduled service calls as needed
• Read and interpret equipment manuals, diagrams, schematics, and work instructions
• Safely use hand tools, power tools, meters, and other service equipment
• Complete work orders and document labor, materials, repairs, and service performed
• Communicate professionally with customers regarding equipment issues and completed repairs
• Coordinate with service management regarding scheduling, parts, materials, and job requirements
• Maintain an organized service vehicle, tools, equipment, and inventory
• Follow company and customer safety procedures while working at job sites
• Identify additional repairs or maintenance needs while servicing customer equipment
• Work independently while maintaining communication with the service team

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous field service, industrial maintenance, mechanical repair, installation, or skilled trades experience
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability
• Experience working with commercial or industrial equipment
• Basic electrical troubleshooting experience strongly preferred
• Comfortable using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment
• Ability to read basic electrical diagrams, schematics, and equipment documentation
• Welding, fabrication, construction, or equipment installation experience is a plus
• Ability to work independently and troubleshoot problems in the field
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Comfortable working at commercial and industrial customer locations
• Ability to perform physical work including lifting, climbing, bending, and working from ladders or lifts
• Willingness to participate in overtime and emergency/on-call service as needed
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
