Service Technician (Crane/Heavy Equipment)

Fast-growing overhead crane manufacturer. We are looking for a motivated individual with 3-5 years industrial electrical/mechanical experience to perform routine inspections, preventative maintenance and complex repairs on overhead cranes and related lifting equipment. Involves regular local and regional travel to worksites.

Key Responsiblities

• Perform routine inspections, preventative maintenance and complex repairs on overhead cranes and related lifting equipment.
• Perform inspections to OSHA/ASME criteria.
• Troubleshoot crane systems: electrical circuits, equipment malfunctions, etc.
• Assemble and repair complex machinery.
• Complete all appropriate documentation in a timely manner.

Skill & Experience

• High school degree or equivalent preferred
• Experience crane technicians or electrical/mechanical experience and a desire to apply to the crane industry.
• 3-5 years of industrial electrical/mechanical experience required.
• Experience troubleshooting 480v 3-phase motor control systems a plus.
• Ability to work independently.
• Some computer proficiency preferred.
