We are seeking to hire a dynamic and dedicated individual to fill the role of a Service Technician in our reputable equipment company. This position is integral to our operations and requires a professional with a strong technical understanding, repairing skills, and adeptness in operation and control. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, demonstrating proficiency in maintaining and repairing complex machinery, troubleshooting technical issues, and ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of all equipment.

Responsibilities:

1. Perform regular and preventative maintenance on furnace like equipment to ensure optimal operation.
2. Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical issues on production machinery and equipment.
3. Conduct regular inspections of machinery and equipment to identify potential issues and fix them before they escalate.
4. Collaborate with the manufacturing team to understand equipment needs and to plan for future equipment upgrades and purchases.
5. Document all service and repair information, and maintain a comprehensive database of machinery history and service records.
6. Adhere to all safety and health regulations, and promote a culture of safety within the company.
7. Provide technical support and guidance to other team members, and train staff on the correct operation of equipment.
8. Stay updated on the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices, and suggest improvements to enhance operational efficiency and safety.

Qualifications:

1. A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Service Technician in the equipment industry.
2. Exceptional technical understanding and ability to repair complex machinery and equipment.
3. Proficient in operation and control, with a keen eye for detail and problem-solving skills.
4. Knowledge of safety and health regulations in the manufacturing industry.
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team.
6. Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
7. Ability to read and understand technical manuals and schematics.
8. Willingness to continuously learn and adapt to new technologies and techniques.
9. Relevant certification or diploma in a technical field is preferred.
