What You'll Do as a Service Technician:

• Disassemble, inspect, repair, and reassemble generators for repair, refurbishment, or warranty work
• Diagnose issues and determine appropriate repair or replacement of parts
• Perform electrical testing and mechanical evaluations on generators and components
• Assist with stator and rotor winding, assembly, and balancing processes
• Conduct generator alignment, coupling, and final testing
• Travel to customer sites to perform field service alongside senior technicians
• Interface with customers both on-site and in the field to support service needs
• Perform additional duties as assigned by leadership within scope of role

What You Need to Bring to the Service Technician Role:

• High school diploma or vocational training with formal technical training or equivalent hands-on experience
• Knowledge of electrical and mechanical principles, applications, and processes
• Ability to learn or experience with stator and rotor winding, assembly, and electrical testing
• Experience with generator assembly, alignment, and coupling
• Ability to use a wide range of tools and equipment safely and effectively
• Approximately 8,000 hours of relevant hands-on experience (or equivalent skill level)
• Willingness and ability to travel 20%–50% of the time for field service work
