LINK Staffing is hiring a Service Technician - Facility Maintenance for a full-time maintenance role in the Houston, TX area. This position pays $30.00-$35.00 per hour and is a strong fit for someone with broad commercial facility maintenance experience.

We are looking for a hands-on problem solver who can troubleshoot issues, complete repairs, handle preventative maintenance, and know when specialized help is needed. This is not a single-trade role. The right candidate should be comfortable working across building systems, repairs, work orders, safety needs, and general facility upkeep.

Responsibilities

• Perform repair, service, and preventative maintenance on facility equipment and building systems
• Support basic HVAC maintenance such as temperature checks, coil cleaning, filter changes, and basic troubleshooting
• Handle plumbing repairs, low-voltage electrical work, appliance issues, and general building maintenance
• Complete structural repairs such as drywall, painting, doors, hardware, windows, ceilings, floors, and related building components
• Respond to safety-related facility issues involving door locks, access control, CCTV, alarms, and related systems
• Complete room make-ready tasks and general repair requests
• Use hand tools, power tools, ladders, and maintenance equipment safely
• Complete work orders, paperwork, and basic computer documentation
• Travel between work locations as needed
• Keep work areas, tools, and assigned spaces clean, organized, and safe

Requirements

• Previous commercial, industrial, residential, property, campus, hotel, healthcare, or facility maintenance experience preferred
• Broad hands-on maintenance skills across multiple areas such as HVAC, plumbing, electrical, structural repairs, doors, locks, appliances, grounds, or access-control systems
• Strong troubleshooting ability and good judgment on what to repair versus when to escalate
• Able to read basic construction plans, drawings, work orders, and instructions
• Comfortable using hand tools, power tools, ladders, and general maintenance equipment
• Basic computer skills for email, work orders, and documentation
• Valid Texas driver’s license with acceptable driving record required
• Current liability insurance required
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs
• Able to climb, bend, kneel, crouch, crawl, reach, stand, walk, push, pull, and drive as needed
• Comfortable working at more than one site or location as needed
• Professional, dependable, and able to work around employees, vendors, visitors, and the public
