Service Technician

Univesco, Inc. is an established, family-owned and managed property management company headquartered in Plano, Texas. With over four decades of experience, we own and operate more than 4,000 apartment units across Texas and Florida.

We are seeking an experienced and thorough Service Technician to join our service team at one of our DFW-area communities. You’ll play a key role in providing top-quality care for our apartment community and residents’ homes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform repairs and maintenance on community areas and apartment homes to meet company standards, including HVAC, carpentry, electrical, painting, and plumbing work.
• Respond promptly to service requests and assist in completing make-readies for vacant units.
• Ensure all work adheres to company policies and procedures, safety standards, and applicable Federal and State laws.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment while prioritizing resident satisfaction.

Qualifications:

• At least 3 years, proven experience in a relevant field (e.g., apartment maintenance or general building maintenance).
• HVAC certification required (EPA certification preferred).
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Working knowledge of the English language (reading, writing, and verbal communication) for clear communication and understanding of instructions with team members and residents.
• Professional demeanor and communication skills, along with a customer-service mindset.
