Coughlin Ford of Heath is looking for an experienced Service Technician to join our growing team! We are seeking someone with a strong background in automotive repair— with prior Ford dealership experience—who can confidently diagnose issues and complete repairs efficiently and accurately.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform work specified on repair orders efficiently and accurately

  • Test-drive vehicles and utilize diagnostic tools to identify issues

  • Diagnose, maintain, and repair automotive systems including:

    • Engine

    • Transmission

    • Electrical/Steering

    • Suspension

    • Brakes

    • Air Conditioning

  • Communicate clearly with the Service Advisor regarding needed repairs and timelines

  • Execute warranty repairs according to manufacturer specifications

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of automotive Service Technician experience required

  • Prior Ford dealership experience required

  • Strong diagnostic, electrical, and engine repair abilities

  • Mechanical aptitude and the ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment

  • Excellent hand-eye coordination and dexterity

  • Basic computer skills and strong customer service orientation

  • Positive attitude, eagerness to learn, and ability to work well within a team

  • Ability to learn new technology, service procedures, and repair specifications

  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
