Service Technician (Industrial Burners/Boilers)

A well-established global manufacturer of industrial heating and energy technology equipment is seeking a Service Technician to join its growing service team. The Service Technician is responsible for the installation, start-up, troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of industrial burner and boiler systems at customer facilities throughout the Atlanta, Georgia area and surrounding states

Type of Position: Direct Hire

Responsibilities:

• Install, repair and service our client's products.
• Maintain daily communication with the Service Coordinator to exchange information and facilitate scheduling.
• Install burners, if needed, utilizing hand tools and machine tools.
• Start-up newly installed burners while checking electrical wiring and functionality of safety devices.
• Maintain burners during service visits.
• Keep up detailed documentation of service site visits for ease of billing and follow up.
• Responsible for company tools and measuring equipment as well as items such as a company car, phone and computer.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in the burner and/or boiler industry or servicing industrial equipment with strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting responsibilities.
• Experience installing, maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting industrial combustion equipment.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, combustion controls, and industrial mechanical equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical wiring diagrams and technical documentation.
• Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong verbal, written, and customer communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, email, and computer-based service documentation.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with service coordinators and fellow technicians.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Willingness to travel extensively, including overnight travel of up to one week at a time
• Passport for training travel to Canada.
