SERVICE TECHNICIAN
Job Description
Category: Service Industry: Agriculture & Light Construction Maintenance, Diesel Engine Technologies Status: Full-time Essential Functions
Diagnose and repair tractors, hay tools, & light construction equipment Maintain technical and product knowledge of New Holland, Case IH, & other various products Perform diagnostic and repairs in the field Prepare all reports and forms required in conjunction with work assignments Ensure warranty repairs are properly diagnosed, documented, and charged Work closely with customers to provide the best total ownership experience of their equipment Perform other duties as requested by the Service Manager & Shop Foreman
Requirements
Certificate or degree from college or technical school; or 5 years related experience and/or training as pertains to previous employment, military experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience in Ag Diesel Mechanics & Systems Basic computer skills Excellent communication skills Dependable, punctual, and career-oriented Maintain a professional appearance Ability to sit, stand, climb, lift 50 lbs., grasp, reach, stoop, and crouch, speak, listen and motor coordination skills Own a variety of tools to perform repairs Pass a pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check Reliable source of transportation
