Job Description:
Responsibilities
- Learn and assist with daily in-house plastic fabrication.
- Read and work from drawings, schematics, and job specs.
- Perform metal and plastic fabrication and welding, including: PVC, CPVC, PP, PVDF Stainless steel and carbon steel Assist with in-field plastic repairs and installation.
- Work with materials containing or in proximity to hazardous chemicals.
- Troubleshoot equipment and system issues. Ensure compliance with health, safety, laws, regulations, and best practices. Travel to customer sites throughout New England Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean, safe job site
Qualifications
- Experience working in industrial or process environments Hands-on knowledge in one or more of the following areas: Chemical process piping Industrial electrical systems Metal welding and fabrication – TIG/MIG Plastic welding and fabrication Industrial water or wastewater treatment systems
- Ability to read and follow instructions and work as part of a team
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Basic computer and writing skills for job reporting and communication
- Ability to read and understand drawings and technical documents
- Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and occasional overnight jobs.
- Willingness and ability to meet deadlines.
