Service Technician

Currently LNS is looking for an Service Technician to travel to customer sites for installations and repairs.

Key Responsibilities Include:

• Install and repair electromechanical machine tool accessories at various remote sites
• Inspects and diagnoses malfunctioning or damaged machine tool accessory to determine nature of problem
• Recommends repairs, replacement, or other corrective action to customer service manager
• Communicates with customer keeping them informed while working onsite at customer locations
• Provides telephone technical assistance to help troubleshoot and repair equipment
• Work with manufacturing when not traveling to customer sites
• Conduct operational, maintenance, and safety training to customers during installation of equipment and repairs of equipment
• Documents repair of equipment with service reports

Requirements:

• Must be able to travel 75% of the time
• Must be able to obtain Passport and travel internationally to Canada and Mexico
• Must be able to communicate effectively with customers during onsite visits
• Must be able to write routine service reports
• Must maintain state driver's license and be able to pass driving record checks annually
