If you enjoy diagnosing problems, performing quality repairs, and working in a fast-paced environment, we want to hear from you.As a Service Technician, you will inspect, diagnose, repair, and maintain customer and dealership vehicles while delivering high-quality workmanship and exceptional service. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and committed to staying current with today's automotive technology.Essential ResponsibilitiesPerform vehicle inspections, diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs.Test vehicle systems and components to ensure proper operation.Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues using computerized diagnostic equipment.Complete repairs efficiently and accurately while following manufacturer and dealership standards.Perform maintenance services including oil changes, tire rotations, brake repairs, tune-ups, suspension work, air conditioning service, engine repairs, and transmission service.Replace or repair worn, damaged, or defective parts.Complete multi-point inspections and document repair recommendations.Maintain accurate repair orders and service documentation.Communicate repair needs with Service Advisors and Service Management.Explain vehicle concerns or repair recommendations to customers when necessary.Maintain current Pennsylvania State Inspection and Emissions licenses and complete all required manufacturer and dealership training.Follow all OSHA, EPA, and state regulations.Adhere to all Bowser Automotive safety policies and procedures.Perform other duties as assigned.QualificationsPrevious automotive technician experience preferred.Valid Pennsylvania State Inspection and Emissions Licenses.Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Excellent communication and customer service skills.Strong attention to detail and time management.Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.Physical RequirementsStand, walk, bend, kneel, and stoop throughout an 8-hour workday.Lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis.Ability to work in a shop environment with varying temperatures.Why Join Bowser Automotive?We value our employees and offer a competitive benefits package, including:Competitive payMedical, Dental, and Vision Insurance401(k) with Company MatchPaid Time Off (PTO)Company-Paid Life InsuranceSupplemental Life InsuranceShort-Term Disability InsuranceOngoing Training and Career DevelopmentOpportunity for AdvancementFamily-Owned Company with a Strong ReputationAbout Bowser AutomotiveBowser Automotive is a family-owned and operated dealership group founded in 1983 by Gary K.
