Service Technician

Job Summary: We are seeking a Service Technician to perform vehicle repair and maintenance as assigned in accordance with dealer standards. This position has a set schedule of Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, steering, suspension, brakes and air conditioning to required specifications.
• Perform vehicle inspection to identify necessary repairs.
• Inspect and test vehicles to determine necessary and applicable repair work.
• Complete necessary paperwork and documentation for service repairs.
• Participate in on-going company and manufacturing training and education programs, to stay current and abreast of changing technology.
• Provide and maintain a basic inventory of required hand tools.
• Other duties may as assigned.

Qualifications:

• High School diploma or GED, Associates degree or equivalent preferred OR 5 - 7 years automotive repair experience preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age
• Pass a criminal background check and drug screen
• Pass a motor vehicle report and possess an acceptable safe driving record
• Possess a valid in-state drivers license
• ASE and manufacturer certification desired.
