    Job Description

    Position Summary

    Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair hydraulic systems and components both in the branch and off site (customers and other locations.)

    Essential Functions

    • Troubleshoot hydraulic systems and components.
    • Diagnose problems, prepare estimates for repairs.
    • Repair and install new systems in the field.
    • Keep work area/truck clean and organized.
    • Maintain proper inventory on service vehicle.
    • Maintain a professional image and relationship with customers.
    • Identify new business opportunities while on customer premises.

    Experience should demonstrate proficiencies in the following areas:

    • Is able to deal with both company employees and outside customers respectfully.
    • Possess ability to determine how a system should work and how changes in conditions, operations, and the environment will affect outcome.
    • Possess skill to formulate a sound decision using available information.
    • Possess ability to pay attention to the minute details of a task.
    • Must possess the ability to work at customer site in accordance with their work rules.

    Education:

    • High School degree or GED required.

    Experience:

    • Five years hydraulic experience is preferred.

    Skills taught after hire as needed:

    • ISO Training, Safety Training, Product Training, System Design, Quality Training

    Certificates & Licenses:

    • Fluid Power Technician Certification Preferred

    Other Requirements:

    • Valid Driver's License, Acceptable Motor Vehicle Record

    • Works in indoors/outdoors in an uncontrolled environment
