Service Technician-Plumbing

Come join our team as a Plumbing Service Technician!

The position of Service Technician is critical to diagnose and repair/replace plumbing problems to all applicable codes. Uphold all R.T. Moore quality standards. Perform all on-call duties in a designated rotation.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform residential and commercial service calls independently with high accuracy
• Repair or replace plumbing per code in an efficient manner.
• Arrive at the office by 7 am every morning unless otherwise approved by the Plumbing Field Superintendent.
• Report to the dispatched after every completed job to optimize the schedule.
• Follow R.T. Moore Quality Standards and Best Practices
• Maintain a positive attitude.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and stocked truck to perform daily service calls and achieve one call resolutions.
• Participate in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals.
• Comply with all safety policies, practices, and procedures. Report all unsafe activities to the Plumbing Field Superintendent.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Motivated work ethic
• Clear verbal communication skills
• Ability to collaborate with a team
• Basic mathematical ability including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
• Ability to read, write, and interpret reports and documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Critical thinking skills and ability to problem solve independently
• A high school diploma or GED is required
• 4 years of experience preferred
