Responsibilities
- Perform vehicle inspections, diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs with care and accuracy
- Work on brakes, tires, steering, suspension, engine, electrical, and other vehicle systems as needed
- Identify concerns efficiently and recommend the right repair solutions
- Complete work orders and service documentation thoroughly
- Follow manufacturer guidelines and shop procedures on every job
- Keep your work area organized, clean, and safe
- Communicate clearly with the service team about findings, timelines, and repair needs
- Use diagnostic tools and equipment to support accurate repair work
- Support a smooth service experience for customers through dependable, high-quality work
- Stay current on new repair methods, tools, and Ford service practices
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience as an automotive service technician
- Strong diagnostic and repair skills across common vehicle systems
- Ability to accurately inspect, identify, and document needed repairs
- Valid drivers license and a clean driving record
- ASE certifications or the ability to earn them preferred
- Experience working with Ford vehicles preferred
- Owns the tools needed to perform core technician duties
- Comfortable using shop equipment and digital service systems
- Clear communication skills for working with service advisors and customers
- Dependable work habits and attention to quality and safety
