Serve your community and develop your professional skills through a year of service with AmeriCorps VISTA! In this teleservice position, the Serve Virginia's Service to Career Pathways VISTA will build capacity by improving the understanding and prevalence of service to career pathways in Virginia, and supporting the Serve Virginia Volunteer Hub as a tool to connect low-income Virginians with opportunities. The Member will do so by expanding the usage of the statewide volunteer platform, working with community partners to identify and document service-to-career pathways, and convening stakeholders to discuss expanding and improving these pathways. The right fit for this position will be: self-driven and highly motivated individuals with a passion for serving their communities, comfortable learning new topics, performing web-based research and communicating professionally with a variety of organizations and individuals.
