Service Truck Driver – Corcoran, CA
Pay: $22–$26/hour DOE + Overtime Opportunities
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM with a 30-minute lunch + Every Other Weekend

Hire Up Staffing is seeking an experienced Service Truck Driver for our client in Corcoran, CA. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong agricultural background who is comfortable working outdoors, performing hands-on labor, and supporting field operations during busy harvest seasons.

This role offers significant overtime opportunities, especially during peak harvest periods, where employees may work up to 12 consecutive days to support operational demands.
Job Summary
The Service Truck Driver is responsible for refueling, lubricating, and performing preventative maintenance on agricultural equipment and heavy machinery. This position plays a key role in ensuring all field equipment and irrigation pumps are properly serviced, maintained, and operating efficiently.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Perform oil changes, filter replacements, and preventative maintenance services on schedule.
  • Refuel and lubricate agricultural equipment and heavy machinery as needed.
  • Record fuel, oil, and other consumables using a handheld device/computer.
  • Perform basic repairs and troubleshooting on trucks and field equipment.
  • Transport, install, and remove irrigation pumps at field locations.
  • Maintain service truck and equipment in clean, safe, and proper working condition.
  • Identify and report unsafe conditions involving equipment or fuel storage areas.
  • Follow all company safety procedures, DOT regulations, and CAL-OSHA requirements.
  • Actively participate in company safety programs and follow supervisor instructions.
  • Work outdoors in various weather conditions including heat, cold, dust, wind, and rain.
  • Perform physically demanding labor throughout the workday.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED preferred.
  • Valid California Class “A” Driver License required, including:
    • HazMat endorsement
    • Air Brake endorsement
    • Tanker endorsement
  • Minimum of 1 year of driving experience required.
  • Agricultural background strongly preferred.
  • Knowledge of heavy equipment maintenance and operation preferred.
  • Bilingual Spanish is a plus.
  • Must be dependable, organized, observant, and able to work in a fast-paced team environment.
  • Must be comfortable working extended hours and overtime during peak seasons.
Physical Requirements
  • Frequently sit, bend, twist, climb, and reach throughout the workday.
  • Repetitive hand use including gripping and operating tools/equipment.
  • Pull fuel hoses up to 100 feet.
  • Climb on and off heavy equipment and irrigation pumps.
  • Occasionally lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
