About the Role:
Join UNIVERSAL LIFT SYSTEMS LLC as a Service Writer and be the vital link between our customers and our service team! In this dynamic role, you will help ensure that our clients receive top-notch service and support for their warehouse and construction equipment, all while working in a friendly and fast-paced environment.


Responsibilities:
  • Providing high-level customer service by coordinating, scheduling and ensuring repairs and maintenance of customer equipment.
  • Prepare detailed service estimates for all customer repairs and maintenance.
  • Managing teams of technicians with accurate Communication to relay customer concerns and service requirements.
  • Schedule service appointments and manage the service calendar efficiently.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate records of customer interactions and service history.
  • Follow up with customers post-service to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns.
  • Cross train for interdepartmental needs as in assist with ordering parts as needed.
  • Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and procedures.
  • Review, Finalize and invoice all completed work orders daily.
Requirements:
  • Mechanical knowledge of Material Handling or Heavy Equipment.
  • Strong communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
  • Knowledge of computer systems and service management software.
  • Ability to multitask and willingness to adapt to business needs.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills, positive demeanor and a team-oriented mindset.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; relevant experience in service writing preferred.
