Position Overview: Kolar Tire & Auto is seeking a friendly, organized, and detailed-oriented Service Writer to join our team in Helena, Montana. As a Service Writer, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, assisting them with their automotive service needs. You'll create service estimates, coordinate with technicians, and ensure exceptional customer experiences throughout the repair process. Key Responsibilities: -Write accurate and detailed repair orders -Provide service estimates and explain recommended repairs and maintenance -Coordinate with technicians to ensure timely completion of work -Communicate progress and updates to customers throughout their repair process -Handle customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints professionally -Maintain organized service records and documentation -Assist with scheduling appointments and managing shop workflow Qualifications: -High school diploma or equivalent -Additional automotive or customer service training is a plus -Prior experience in automotive service writing preferred (but we will train the right candidate) -Strong communication and interpersonal skills -Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment -Basic computer skills and knowledge of automotive repair terminology Physical Requirements: -Ability to sit, stand for periods of time, and move around the shop and office areas -Lifting of items up to 25 lbs Compensation & Benefits: -Wage: $18-28/hour DOE -Paid time off and holidays -Health insurance and benefit options available -Opportunities for advancement within the company |
