McCarthy Tire Service is a fourth-generation, family-owned company serving the transportation industry since 1926. We are seeking a dependable Tire Service Writer to join our team. What We're Looking For
The ideal candidate has:
1+ year of tire sales and/or service writing experience
Strong knowledge of commercial and passenger tire products and services
Experience with invoicing, coding, billing, purchase orders, and work orders
Valid driver's license
Strong customer service and communication skills
Basic math and accounting skills
Good computer, typing, and data-entry skills
Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
Professional attitude, reliability, and strong teamwork skills
Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. and remain active throughout the workday
Responsibilities
Greet customers and manage service needs from intake through completion
Assess customer concerns and recommend appropriate tire/service solutions
Prepare estimates and explain pricing and recommended repairs
Communicate with technicians, parts suppliers, and customers
Provide customers with updates on service progress
Schedule appointments and answer service-related questions
Maintain accurate customer records, work orders, invoices, and other documentation
Support pickup and delivery of tires and service products as needed
