ServiceNow Administrator/Developer Clearance: Active TS/SCI with Polygraph required.
We are seeking a ServiceNow Administrator/Developer (SA2) to join a highly skilled team supporting the design, development, administration, and integration of enterprise ServiceNow solutions. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience managing and developing within a self-hosted ServiceNow environment, with strong Linux/UNIX troubleshooting and JavaScript development skills.
This position supports a hybrid cloud environment and provides an opportunity to work on automation, integrations, workflows, reporting, and process improvements. AWS experience is a plus.
Responsibilities
Install, configure, troubleshoot, upgrade, and maintain self-hosted ServiceNow environments.
Develop and maintain custom ServiceNow workflows and service requests.
Build solutions that meet business and technical requirements.
Develop and maintain ServiceNow views, dashboards, and reports.
Implement integrations and process automation using ServiceNow Orchestration.
Develop scripts to automate routine administrative and operational tasks.
Perform system, integration, and Section 508 compliance testing.
Monitor ServiceNow application health, usage, performance, and compliance.
Evaluate existing ServiceNow capabilities and recommend enhancements and process improvements.
Troubleshoot Linux/UNIX systems supporting the ServiceNow environment.
Create and maintain technical documentation.
Train and mentor junior team members.
Work collaboratively with engineering, development, and customer teams to deliver reliable solutions.
Required Qualifications
2+ years of hands-on ServiceNow Administration and Development experience.
Experience administering and troubleshooting Linux/UNIX systems.
Development experience with JavaScript or other high-level programming languages.
Working knowledge of HTML, XML, and CSS.
Experience developing workflows, service requests, reports, and automated processes in ServiceNow.
Experience creating and maintaining technical documentation.
Demonstrated ability to mentor junior technical personnel.
Strong communication, troubleshooting, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
Desired Qualifications
Experience administering a self-hosted ServiceNow instance, including ServiceNow application upgrades.
Experience with ServiceNow Orchestration and integrations.
Java development experience.
Experience analyzing existing processes and implementing efficiencies through automation.
ServiceNow certifications, such as ServiceNow Certified System Administrator or Certified Application Developer.
AWS/cloud experience.
LCAT Requirements
10 years of experience as a Systems Administrator (SA) supporting programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university is required.
Five additional years of Systems Administration experience may be substituted for the Bachelor’s degree.
Must meet DoD 8570.01-M IAT Level II requirements with one of the following certifications:
