Servicenow Administrator

Empath Health is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented ServiceNow Administrator to join our Information Technology team. In this role, you will manage, configure, and maintain the ServiceNow platform while supporting its integration across a complex healthcare organization.

This position offers the opportunity to work across ServiceNow administration, workflow automation, system integrations, IT service management, and regulatory compliance while partnering with IT, clinical, and business teams to improve service delivery and operational efficiency. The ideal candidate is both technically strong and collaborative, with the ability to translate organizational needs into scalable ServiceNow solutions while ensuring platform reliability, security, and alignment with ITIL and ITSM best practices.

Location: Remote - must reside in the Eastern or Central time zone.

What You'll Do

• Administer and maintain the ServiceNow platform, including users, roles, groups, permissions, and overall platform configuration

• Configure and support ServiceNow modules including Incident, Problem, Change, Asset, Knowledge, Service Catalog, ITSM, and SPM

• Partner with technical teams to integrate ServiceNow with key healthcare systems, including HRIS and financial platforms, to support seamless data exchange and workflow automation

• Develop, test, and implement workflows, business rules, UI policies, automation scripts, and platform customizations aligned with ITIL and ITSM methodologies

• Continuously evaluate and improve ServiceNow processes to enhance service delivery, incident response, change management, and operational efficiency

• Monitor platform performance, apply upgrades and patches, troubleshoot issues, and help ensure system reliability and availability

• Support compliance with HIPAA, HITECH, and other healthcare regulatory requirements related to data privacy, security, and auditability

• Provide technical support, training, and knowledge transfer to clinical, business, and IT users while maintaining thorough documentation of platform configurations, integrations, customizations, and ITSM processes

What You'll Need

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent related experience

• Demonstrated expertise configuring, implementing, and integrating ServiceNow ITSM, SPM, and Service Catalog modules

• Strong understanding of ServiceNow administration, configuration, workflow development, and ITSM best practices

• Proficiency with JavaScript, HTML, and web technologies used for ServiceNow platform customization

• Experience with integration tools, APIs, and connecting ServiceNow with enterprise systems preferred

• ServiceNow Administrator certification preferred

• ITIL Foundation certification or higher preferred

• Additional certifications in IT service management, project management, or program leadership preferred
