Primary Talent Partners has a new contract opening for a ServiceNow Architect with our large power and utilities client in Charlotte, NC. This is a 12-month contract with a potential for extension. 


Pay:$75.00 - $85.00/hr; W2 contract, no PTO, no Benefits. ACA-compliant supplemental package available for enrollment. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States and must be able to sit on Primary Talent Partners W2 without sponsorship.


Description:
The ServiceNow Architect will be responsible for designing ServiceNow solutions that align with client's IT strategy. They will collaborate with IT teams to ensure the platform meets business needs and performance standards.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Design ServiceNow solutions based on business requirements.
  • Evaluate emerging ServiceNow technologies and the evolution of current functionality to define roadmaps to meet business needs.
  • Develop and manage the target design, policies and standards, working proactively to maintain a stable, viable architecture and ensure consistency of design across multiple projects.
  • Provide ownership of solutions, working with members of the lead technical team to ensure its feasibility.
  • Work closely with Enterprise Architecture team to align with Client strategies.
  • Managing the ServiceNow solution design for complex projects, ensuring best practice, quality and fit for purpose outcomes.
  • Provide advice on alternative options, risks and the associated impact to the business and technical architecture.
  • Drive the continuous improvements of our technical capability, implementation methodology and service offerings based on user experiences, ensuring a value driven approach.
  • Mentor other team members in implementation methodology, solution design, ServiceNow configuration and best practice.
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to the ServiceNow development team.
  • Stay updated with the latest ServiceNow features and technologies to enhance system capabilities.


Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Proven experience as a ServiceNow architect or developer, particularly in Cloud technologies (AWS/Azure)
  • Strong understanding of IT service management and business processes.
  • Excellent problem-solving and project management skills.


Skills and Experience:
  • Proven experience as a key technical resource leading the development of solutions in ServiceNow environments that have implemented and provided excellent design architecture in areas such ITSM, HRSD, ITOM, ITAM, Integrations etc.
  • Experience with scripting in ServiceNow (JavaScript, AngularJS, etc.)
  • Experience with Web Technologies (XML, HTML, JavaScript, Web Services
  • Experience with architecting or developing solutions within the cloud (AWS)
  • Excellent knowledge of technical components such as LDAP, VPN, SSL and other such technologies.
  • Knowledge of ITIL frameworks and methodologies.
  • Strong ability to demonstrate analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent verbal, written and time management skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence and consult to all levels of stakeholders (providing options with pros, cons and risks) around all key technical decisions during project delivery with outstanding results.
  • Demonstrated ability to mentor staff in development and release management relative to the ServiceNow platform to drive quality, value and best practice.


Preferred Skills:
  • CTA/CMA certified.
  • ITIL Foundation certified.
  • Certified ServiceNow System Administrator.
  • Certified CSM, ITSM and ITOM Implementation Specialist.
  • Knowledge or experience of Agile or SCRUM.
  • Understanding of Cybersecurity practices and programs
  • Experience in Government Community Cloud
  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator or Certified Application Developer.
