ServiceNow BPC Analyst

Location: Ankeny, Iowa (Onsite) 

Contract: 12‑month contract‑to‑hire 

Rate: $55-63/hr 

Work Authorization: USC/GC only (due to potential conversion)

Position Overview

A long‑term client is seeking an experienced ServiceNow Business Process Consultant (BPC Analyst) to act as the bridge between business stakeholders and technical delivery teams. This role drives process transformation by gathering requirements, designing scalable solutions, and supporting successful ServiceNow implementations aligned with organizational goals and best practices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Gather, analyze, and document functional and technical requirements for ServiceNow enhancements and implementations.

  • Translate business needs into process designs, user stories, and functional specifications.

  • Lead workshops, discovery sessions, and process mapping with cross‑functional teams.

  • Configure and implement ServiceNow modules (ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, CSM, SPM, etc.).

  • Identify process improvement opportunities aligned with ServiceNow capabilities and ITIL best practices.

  • Create and maintain documentation: process flows, SOPs, workflows, design artifacts.

  • Partner with developers, architects, and delivery teams to ensure solutions meet requirements.

  • Support UAT planning, test case creation, execution, and defect tracking.

  • Assist with change management, including training, communications, and stakeholder readiness.

Required Qualifications

  • 3–5+ years as a Business Analyst or Process Consultant.

  • 2+ years working directly with the ServiceNow platform.

  • Hands‑on experience with one or more modules: ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, CSM, GRC, or SPM.

  • Strong understanding of ITIL and enterprise service management.

  • Proven ability to lead requirements workshops and present solutions to stakeholders.

  • Experience creating user stories, process flows, and functional design documentation.

  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and organizational skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • ServiceNow CSA certification.

  • ServiceNow CIS certification(s) in relevant modules.

  • ITIL Foundation certification.
