Description

Spatial Front, Inc. (SFI), a two-time USA Today Top Workplaces awardee and Washington Top Workplaces honoree, is seeking a ServiceNow Business Analyst / Requirements Lead to join our team supporting a dynamic, science-driven federal client. In this role, you will lead requirements elicitation and process analysis for investigative, compliance, review, approval, and case-management workflows implemented on ServiceNow ICM

Work Environment: Hybrid - mostly remote, with occasional on-site support as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate discovery sessions, interviews, process workshops, and requirements reviews.
  • Document epics, features, user stories, use cases, business rules, data requirements, and acceptance criteria.
  • Develop process maps for intake, triage, assignment, investigation, evidence handling, approvals, closure, and reporting.
  • Maintain requirements traceability from SOW requirements through configuration, test cases, and acceptance.
  • Work with architects and developers to clarify requirements and resolve design questions.
  • Prepare UAT scenarios, test data, expected results, and stakeholder instructions.
  • Support sprint reviews and capture feedback, decisions, and backlog changes.
  • Ensure requirements address security roles, records handling, auditability, accessibility, and reporting needs.

Requirements

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer information systems, electrical engineering, math, or equivalent technical studies (required).
  • 10+ years of professional experience, with at least 3 years in an Agile environment.
  • Experience analyzing investigative, compliance, grants, legal, or case-management processes.
  • Strong command of Agile user stories, acceptance criteria, process modeling, and traceability techniques.
  • Working knowledge of ServiceNow ICM, App Engine, Flow Designer, Workspace, reporting, and role-based access concepts.
  • Ability to translate policy and operational procedures into configurable workflows and controls.
  • Experience supporting federal stakeholders and structured Government acceptance processes.
  • Proficiency with Jira, Azure DevOps, Visio, Lucidchart, or similar tools.
  • Strong facilitation, technical writing, analytical, and stakeholder-management skills.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain required NSF suitability or Public Trust clearance.

Desired Certifications:

  • CBAP or PMI-PBA
  • Certified ScrumMaster
  • ServiceNow CSA or CIS-Application Portfolio/related implementation certification

Additional Information:

  • Clearance: Must be a US citizen to qualify for clearance. Background checks will include fingerprinting, criminal history, education/certification and employment verification, and credit history. (Public Trust investigations typically take 4-8 weeks and require fingerprinting.)
  • Work Environment: Hybrid remote, with occasional on-site support as needed.
  • Salary Range: $90,000 - $130,000 Annually
