Job Overview
The ServiceNow Developer (CMDB) will be a key member of the core platform development team, responsible for designing, developing, and enhancing the ServiceNow CMDB and associated integrations.
The role focuses on:
- CMDB data integrity

The developer will build scalable solutions that support accurate and reliable configuration management across the enterprise.

Key Responsibilities
1. CMDB Development & Data Integrity
- Design and implement CMDB data model enhancements
- Manage CI lifecycle management
- Support CMDB data governance
- Ensure configuration data is accurate, complete, and consistent
- Align CMDB with CSDM
- Ensure alignment with enterprise architecture standards
2. ServiceNow Platform Development
Develop and customize ServiceNow solutions using:
- JavaScript
- Glide / Glide APIs
- Flow Designer
- Service Portal
- Related ServiceNow technologies
Responsibilities include:
- Custom application development
- Platform enhancements
- Performance optimization
- Scalable solution development
- Maintainable, best-practice ServiceNow development
3. CMDB Integration & Data Management
Build and maintain integrations that feed configuration data into the CMDB.
Key technologies include:
- REST
- SOAP
- MID Server
- Data Streams
- Scripted APIs
- File Imports
- ServiceNow Spokes
The candidate should understand:
- Data ingestion
- Normalization
- Reconciliation

- Troubleshoot CMDB-related issues
