Work you'll do
We're hiring a ServiceNow Developer Contractor to support technology health metrics, CMDB data quality, and application lifecycle reporting across enterprise applications. This role will support with APM, Enterprise Services, and Cyber teams to maintain accurate CMDB and M8 data, improve CI relationships, and support reporting, security posture, and application ownership.
Responsibilities
- Support as a liaison across Enterprise Services to support daily Project Surge activities and coordinate M8 data integration into the CMDB.
- Collaborate with Enterprise Services and M8 application owners to identify, map, and maintain security metrics in alignment with APM processes.
- Ensure accurate CI structures and relationships within the CMDB to support cyber and enterprise application health reporting.
- Identify opportunities to enhance ServiceNow catalog items to automate CI relationship creation and improve CMDB fidelity.
- Maintain oversight of CMDB mapping governance to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and reliability across the enterprise application portfolio.
- Support the design and deployment of dashboards and scorecards to track application technical lifecycle posture, configuration completeness, and key operational metrics.
- Identify, communicate, and help mitigate risks related to configuration integrity and data quality.
- Support reporting for enterprise technical health metrics, including application health trends, remediation progress, and technical debt posture.
- Drive process improvements that enhance data governance, reporting consistency, and operational transparency.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in IT service management, configuration management, application portfolio management, or a related field.
- Hands-on experience with ServiceNow CMDB, CI structures, relationship modeling, and data governance.
- Understanding of the Technology Reference Model (TRM) module in ServiceNow and how software/hardware lifecycle standards are applied in enterprise application management.
- Experience building or supporting dashboards and scorecards for lifecycle, configuration, or application reporting.
- Strong cross-functional collaboration skills and the ability to work effectively across multiple stakeholder groups.
- Foundational scripting experience in Python, PowerShell, or similar languages to support automation or data processing.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including SOP development, documentation, and data quality reporting.
The expected pay range for this contract assignment is $55 - $60 per hour. The exact pay rate will vary based on skills, experience, and location and will be determined by the third-party whose employees provide services to Deloitte.
