ServiceNow Developer (Remote – U.S.)
We are seeking a skilled ServiceNow Developer to support a strategic initiative involving the consolidation of two existing ServiceNow instances into a new, unified platform following a recent merger and acquisition. This role requires strong hands-on experience across multiple ServiceNow modules and integrations, along with the ability to design and implement scalable solutions.
Project Overview
This engagement focuses on merging and modernizing ServiceNow environments into a single instance. The ideal candidate will play a key role in designing, developing, and integrating solutions across core platform capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and implement applications and solutions on the ServiceNow platform
  • Configure and customize ServiceNow modules, including forms, workflows, UI policies, and business rules
  • Support ITIL-based processes through tailored ServiceNow solutions
  • Perform day-to-day platform administration (user/group management, configuration, scripting)
  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver effective solutions
  • Integrate ServiceNow with third-party systems and enterprise tools
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to configurations and integrations
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including design specs, workflows, and user guides
Required Skills & Experience
  • Hands-on experience as a ServiceNow Developer in enterprise environments
  • Strong expertise in ServiceNow development, configuration, and scripting (JavaScript, Glide API)
  • Experience working across the following modules/platforms:
    • Service Catalog & Service Portal
    • ITSM (Incident, Problem, Change Management)
    • CMDB & Discovery
    • Event Management
    • Demand Management / Agile
  • Experience with integrations, including:
    • Active Directory (AD) and LDAP
    • Catalog and portal integrations
  • Strong understanding of UI Policies, workflows, and platform customization
  • Experience supporting system integrations and data migration efforts
  • Ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with ServiceNow instance consolidation or migration projects
  • Familiarity with merger & acquisition (M&A) system integration initiatives
  • ServiceNow certifications (e.g., Certified System Administrator, Certified Application Developer)
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment
