Job Description

Title: ServiceNow Developer (Senior-Level)

Overall Assignment Description

Design, configure, develop, integrate, test, and sustain ServiceNow capabilities (modules and scoped apps) in an agile environment supporting IC/DoD missions. Provide hands-on development, instance administration, integrations, and UI/UX configuration aligned to formal design and configuration-management processes.

Duties May Include

• Elicit/translate requirements with customers and agile teams into epics, user stories, and technical tasks.

• Design, build, test, and maintain ServiceNow suites/modules and scoped applications to specifications and standards.

• Develop with HTML/CSS/JavaScript; exchange data via XML/JSON/CSV; implement flows, scripting, and automations.

• Administer instances (users/roles/groups, ACLs), AD integration, notifications, global settings, and performance/governance tuning.

• Configure Service Portal/Now UX (AngularJS) for clear, content-rich, accessible interfaces.

• Implement third-party integrations and platform automations; manage code via branching, reviews, and pipelines.

• Produce and maintain technical documentation (designs, run books, deployment/upgrade guides).

• Track new features/deprecations; recommend adoption to reduce technical debt and improve value.

Required Skills & Experience

• AngularJS and Service Portal experience.

• ServiceNow administration experience (performance, optimization, governance).

• Implemented ≥ 2 modules with 2+ years hands-on platform work.

Certifications (Required)

• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA)

• ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD)

Certifications/Experience (Desired)

• ITIL® 4 Foundation; automated testing frameworks; CI/CD; platform governance.

• Prior IC/DoD delivery; SCIF experience.

Education and Experience (Required — one of)

• HS Diploma/GED + 12 years related experience, or

• Associate’s + 10 years, or

• Bachelor’s + 8 years, or
