Job Description
Kforce has a client in Tallahassee, FL that is seeking an experienced ServiceNow Developer to design, develop, configure, integrate, test, and support enterprise ServiceNow solutions. This role partners with business stakeholders, product owners, and technical teams to deliver scalable, secure, and maintainable solutions focused on IT Service Management (ITSM), workflow automation, platform modernization, integrations, and Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM).
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and support ITSM processes including Incident, Request, Change, Problem, and Knowledge Management
- Configure and enhance ServiceNow SPM solutions supporting demand, project, portfolio, and resource management
- Develop ServiceNow applications, workflows, forms, catalogs, portals, workspaces, and user experiences
- Build solutions using Flow Designer, IntegrationHub, JavaScript, Glide APIs, Business Rules, Script Includes, Client Scripts, UI Policies, and UI Actions
- Develop and maintain REST/SOAP integrations and support enterprise data synchronization
- Support CMDB/CSDM initiatives, service modeling, and data quality improvements
- Perform troubleshooting, root cause analysis, testing, deployments, upgrades, and application support
- Create reports, dashboards, KPIs, and analytics that support operational and strategic decision-making
- Collaborate within Agile teams and participate in sprint planning, technical design, testing, and release activities
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent professional experience
- 4+ years of hands-on ServiceNow development and configuration experience
- Strong experience with JavaScript and ServiceNow Glide APIs
- Hands-on experience with Flow Designer, Business Rules, Script Includes, Client Scripts, UI Policies, UI Actions, and Service Catalog
- Experience developing and supporting REST/SOAP integrations and IntegrationHub solutions
- Proven experience implementing and supporting ServiceNow ITSM
- Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills across applications, workflows, integrations, and platform data
- Experience moving solutions through development, testing, and production environments
- Agile development experience with strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions
- ServiceNow certifications such as CSA, CAD, CIS-ITSM, or CIS-SPM
- Experience with ServiceNow Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM)
- Experience with CMDB/CSDM, Performance Analytics, Employee Center, and Workspaces
- Experience with upgrades, release management, and application deployments
- Experience within higher education, public sector, or large enterprise environments
- Knowledge of ServiceNow AI and automation capabilities
- Highly Desired Skills: SPM, IntegrationHub, CMDB/CSDM, Performance Analytics, Service Catalog, Employee Center, Workspace, and ServiceNow certifications
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
