Job Title: ServiceNow Developer
Location: Tysons Corner, VA (Hybrid / Remote)
Duration: Fulltime
We are seeking an experienced
ServiceNow Developer to support the development, configuration, integration, maintenance, testing, deployment, and continuous improvement of enterprise ServiceNow/ESM solutions in a Federal environment. The successful candidate will bring strong hands-on development skills, a solid understanding of ITSM and the ServiceNow platform, and the ability to contribute effectively across the full application lifecycle.
Required Experience & Qualifications- 5+ years of experience working with the ServiceNow/ESM platform, including at least 2 years of Federal experience.
- At least 3 years of experience delivering services of similar scope, size, and complexity
- Strong hands-on experience with core ITSM modules, including:
- Incident Management
- Problem Management
- Change Management
- Request Management
- Knowledge Management
- Proficiency in ServiceNow development using JavaScript, GlideRecord, GlideAjax, and ServiceNow APIs.
- Hands-on experience developing and maintaining Business Rules, Script Includes, Client Scripts, UI Policies, Access Control Lists (ACLs), and Data Policies.
- Working knowledge of CMDB and CSDM, including the role these capabilities play in maintaining accurate configuration and service data.
- Experience working with modern ServiceNow user-experience technologies, including one or more of Service Portal, UI Builder, Workspaces, and Employee Center.
- Experience managing the ServiceNow development lifecycle, including Update Sets, source control, deployments, testing, and platform upgrades.
- Experience with ServiceNow data-management capabilities, including Import Sets, Transform Maps, scheduled jobs, and data migration.
- Ability to develop and maintain solutions that meet established requirements for security, performance, scalability, reliability, and maintainability.

- ServiceNow development, configuration, testing, deployment, and upgrade practices
Certifications- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) - required.
- ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) - required for applicable domains, including ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, and HAM/SAM, based on the candidate's assigned responsibilities.
- Equivalent certifications or qualifications may be considered where they demonstrate comparable ServiceNow expertise.
The ideal candidate will be comfortable working hands-on within the ServiceNow platform while following established development, security, testing, deployment, and governance standards and contributing to solutions comparable in
scope, size, and complexityCompensation:
The expected compensation range for this position is $90,000 - $140,000 annually. Compensation is determined in good faith and may vary based on job-related factors, including relevant experience, skills, education, certifications, clearance level, labor category alignment, contract requirements, work location, internal equity, and business needs.
