Role Overview

• Lead the implementation, administration, and optimization of ServiceNow IT Asset Management (ITAM) solutions.
• Provide expertise across:
  • Hardware Asset Management (HAM).
  • Software Asset Management (SAM Pro).
  • Asset Lifecycle Management.
  • Discovery and CMDB integrations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including:
  • Infrastructure.
  • Security.
  • Procurement.
  • Application Support.
  • Compliance.
• Establish effective asset management practices across the organization.
• Support audits and compliance initiatives.
• Maximize the business value and utilization of IT assets.
• Provide strong expertise in ServiceNow ITAM modules, ITIL processes, integrations, reporting, and stakeholder management.

Required Skills & Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, configure, and support ServiceNow ITAM solutions.
• Manage and support:

• Configure complex publisher packs for major software vendors, including:

  • IBM.
  • SAP.
• Manage end-to-end IT asset lifecycle processes, including:

  • Maintenance.
  • Retirement.
• Support software license compliance and entitlement management.
• Support software audits and audit-readiness activities.
• Perform data reconciliation between:
  • CMDB.
  • ServiceNow Discovery.
  • Procurement systems.
  • Asset repositories.
• Develop reports, dashboards, and KPIs for:
  • Asset utilization.
  • License compliance.
  • Asset lifecycle management.
  • ITAM performance.
• Troubleshoot ServiceNow platform issues.
• Provide production support for ServiceNow ITAM solutions.
• Collaborate with IT, Procurement, Security, and Compliance teams on asset governance initiatives.
• Participate in ServiceNow upgrades, patching, and platform enhancement activities.
• Document technical designs, configurations, processes, and operational procedures.

ServiceNow Development & Integration

• Experience with ServiceNow Flow Designer.
• Experience with IntegrationHub.
• Develop and maintain ServiceNow integrations using:
  • REST.
  • SOAP.
  • LDAP.
  • JDBC.
• Experience with large-scale ServiceNow FedRAMP implementations and integrations.
• Understand FedRAMP security, authorization, and continuous monitoring requirements.
• Develop and maintain JavaScript to meet business and technical requirements.
• Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts for automation and platform requirements.
• Implement data transformations using:
  • File-based processes.
  • Scripting.
  • ServiceNow transformation capabilities.

Architecture & Security

• Demonstrate relevant IT architecture experience.
• Understand network architecture and security implications associated with integrations.
• Design secure and reliable integration architectures.
• Understand security requirements for enterprise ServiceNow implementations.
• Apply FedRAMP security and compliance principles where applicable.

Testing & Quality Assurance

• Knowledge of software testing methodologies, including:
  • Unit Testing.
  • System Integration Testing (SIT).
  • Performance Testing.
  • User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
  • Client-specific testing.
• Develop repeatable processes for:
