SAIC is seeking ServiceNow Platform Architect to support the Enterprise ServiceNow Platform for USTRANSCOM located at Scott Air Force Base (AFB) in Illinois. The USTC Managed Information Technology Services (MITS) contract is intended to provide strategic, technical, and program management guidance and support services to facilitate the operations and modernization of the combatant command's infrastructure, systems, and applications. This support will be provided to the USTC Command, Control, Communications & Cyber Systems Directorate (TCJ6) and support all current and future integrations with command systems.

The successful candidate will be responsible for working at the direction of the IT Service Manager, Platform Owner and with other Platform Core Team roles and Technical Leads to facilitate and ensure the success of the ServiceNow platform by focusing on the design, implementation, and optimization of ServiceNow solutions for the organization.



Responsibilities:
  • Documents the overall platform design and helps to analyze the impact of new requirements.
  • Ensures platform alignment with the business strategy.
  • Provides consultative technical leadership to the platform team.
  • Creates and maintains a detailed view of the existing architecture.
  • Provides architectural controls to ensure the correct technical solutions are used when delivering business solutions.
  • Resolves technical escalations, including responding to defects.
  • Participates in process workshops.
  • Works closely with enterprise architecture team.
  • Assists in migrating configuration across instances.
  • Integration expert in the absence of a dedicated role.
  • Develops and manages information to support enterprise decision making.
  • Manages and improves existing reporting systems.
  • Conducts and facilitates (and educates and trains on) analyses, issues identification, organizational risk assessment, and decision-making processes.
  • Provides consulting and analytic services to leadership.
  • Provides technical support and mentoring and training to less-senior analysts.
  • Develops methodology and processes for prioritization and scheduling of projects.
  • Analyzes problems and determines root causes.
  • Works closely with all Directorate Branches and engineering teams to develop strategy for long term data platform architecture.

This position is for Monday through Friday, normal business hours. However, employee may be required to provide after-hours and weekend support during planned or emergency events.

Qualifications
?
Required Qualifications:
  • BA/BS.
  • Ten (10) or more years of experience.
  • DoD Secret clearance.
  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA).
  • ITIL V4 Foundations certification.
  • 3-5 years of experience for the ServiceNow platform, including various modules like ITSM, ITOM, CSM, WSD, and more.
  • Strong skill in ServiceNow scripting (JavaScript, Glide API), integration technologies, and database concepts.
  • Ability to manage multiple, high, & competing priorities in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment
  • Ability to communicate IT, networking, and security concepts to personnel at all levels of experience and responsibility.
  • Familiarity with network management, security, monitoring tools, and/or cloud technologies.
  • Strong facilitation skills, with the ability to guide and manage team dynamics and decision-making processes effectively.

Desired Qualifications:
  • MA/MS.
  • DoD TS/SCI clearance.
  • Certified Application Developer (CAD), Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS), or similar ServiceNow certification.
  • Micro-Certification - Agile and Test Management Implementation.
  • Agile Development 2.0 Simulator Micro Certification.
  • Experience with Agile software development tools to manage backlogs, sprints, and collaborative work.


Target salary range: $120,001 - $160,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
