ServiceNow Platform Engineer - Remote

Genesis10 is currently seeking a ServiceNow Platform Engineer for a contract to hire position with a Regional Financial Institution located in Easton, OH, Charlotte, NC or Atlanta, GA. This is a 3+ month contract to hire opportunity.

Compensation: $76.00 - $86.00 per hour, W2, based on qualifications

Position Overview:
This role provides technical and consultative support on the most complex technical matters. The ideal candidate will analyze, design, and develop systems based upon user specifications, leveraging an in-depth knowledge of the technical tools available for systems development and support.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and resolve issues against ServiceNow applications
• Advise internal teams and lines of business regarding process and technology inefficiencies within the platform
• Perform routine maintenance to include performance monitoring and error identification/remediation
• Maintain and improve the overall stability of the platform ensuring best practices are identified and incorporated into the platform
• Experience with ServiceNow best practices and understand the best solutions to remediate technical debt in the Now platform
• Manage Instance Security, User/Group access, roles and associated relationships, and Access Control Lists (ACLs)
• Provide training and knowledge across the platform to our internal team and external business partners
• Develop reporting strategy and maintenance plan for platform wide reporting
• Strong knowledge and experience with object-oriented programming (OOP)

Primary Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree or 4+ additional years of equivalent experience
• 5+ years of experience in application development plan, ITSM and ServiceNow

Desired Skills:

• Configuration and modification of the ServiceNow platform in the following areas: IT Service Management (ITSM), Customer Service Management (CSM), Intelligent Apps, HR Service Delivery, Security Operations, Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC) or Integrated Risk Management (IRM), Software Asset Management (SAM), IT Business Management (ITBM), and IT Operations Management (ITOM)
• Familiarity with the User Experience Tools, Service Intelligence, and Service Experiences
• Knowledge and Experience working with Web Services, REST, JSONv2
