  • Opportunity to own and advance an enterprise ServiceNow platform supporting critical IT and business operations.
  • High-visibility partnership with senior stakeholders, the PMO, vendors, compliance teams, and technical leaders.
  • Ability to establish platform standards and build a ServiceNow Center of Excellence.
  • Onsite position based in Bridgewater, New Jersey.

How You Will Make An Impact

  • Serve as the solution architect and platform owner for the enterprise ServiceNow ecosystem.
  • Develop and execute the platform roadmap in alignment with digital strategy, business priorities, and IT objectives.
  • Lead architecture and governance across ServiceNow products, including ITSM, ITOM, ITAM, and future platform capabilities.
  • Define technical standards for integrations, data architecture, development, testing, release management, instance strategy, upgrades, and platform security.
  • Establish and lead a ServiceNow Center of Excellence that provides guidance, training, governance, and reusable development practices.
  • Partner with stakeholders to evaluate business needs, complete capability and gap assessments, and translate priorities into investment initiatives.
  • Manage demand and oversee a portfolio of ServiceNow projects through prioritization, planning, risk management, vendor oversight, and execution.
  • Architect integrated and automated workflows that improve efficiency, strengthen controls, and maintain audit readiness.
  • Ensure the platform satisfies regulated-system requirements, including 21 CFR Part 11, SOX, GxP validation, IQ/OQ/PQ documentation, and audit-trail integrity.
  • Evaluate and onboard new ServiceNow products, third-party integrations, and marketplace solutions through structured build-versus-buy assessments.
  • Lead, develop, and retain technical talent while remaining willing to contribute directly when needed.

Do You Have the Expertise to Lead an Enterprise ServiceNow Platform?

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, business, or a related discipline.
  • At least 10 years of progressive experience supporting or leading enterprise IT applications.
  • Seven or more years of experience leading a ServiceNow platform, development team, or enterprise implementation function.
  • Demonstrated hands-on depth with ServiceNow ITSM, ITOM, and ITAM.
  • Strong experience with ServiceNow platform architecture, governance, integrations, data models, upgrades, and development standards.
  • At least seven years of experience partnering with multiple business functions to implement technology-enabled capabilities.
  • Three or more years of direct people-management experience, including hiring, coaching, developing, and retaining technical professionals.
  • Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and lead complex, cross-functional initiatives.
  • Strong business systems analysis capabilities and knowledge of Agile, Waterfall, and broader system development lifecycle practices.
  • Experience managing implementation partners, software vendors, and ongoing platform-support relationships.
  • Strong understanding of IT operations, enterprise applications, administration, and service-management processes.
  • Ability to operate effectively within a federated, cross-functional organizational model.
  • Pharmaceutical or biopharmaceutical industry experience and prior work in a GxP-regulated environment are strongly preferred.
  • Experience supporting 21 CFR Part 11, SOX, computerized system validation, IQ/OQ/PQ, and audit-readiness requirements is strongly preferred.
  • ITIL, PMP, ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist, MBA, or comparable credentials are preferred.
  • Strong communication, decision-making, leadership, problem-solving, and stakeholder-management skills.
  • Hands-on leadership style with the willingness to step into technical or operational details when necessary.
