Our client is seeking a ServiceNow Program Solution Architect to lead the architecture, design, implementation, and strategic direction of ServiceNow solutions, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives, industry best practices, and successful project delivery through technical leadership, integration oversight, and team mentorship.

 

This opportunity is remote with required travel to the DC area. Per our Federal Government Contract, candidates must be U.S. Citizens with an ACTIVE SECRET or TOP SECRET CLEARANCE. 

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the lead technical authority for the architecture, design, development, and implementation of ServiceNow solutions across the enterprise.
  • Define and maintain the overall ServiceNow platform architecture, ensuring scalability, security, performance, and sustainability.
  • Ensure all ServiceNow implementations align with organizational objectives, governance standards, industry best practices, and platform capabilities.
  • Provide strategic technical guidance and recommendations for ServiceNow roadmap planning, platform enhancements, and solution design.
  • Lead the design and oversight of complex integrations between ServiceNow and external systems, applications, and data sources.
  • Establish and enforce architecture standards, development methodologies, and platform governance processes.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, and technical teams to translate business requirements into scalable ServiceNow solutions.
  • Review and approve technical designs, configurations, customizations, and integrations to ensure adherence to architectural standards.
  • Identify and mitigate technical risks, performance issues, and platform limitations throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Mentor and provide technical leadership to ServiceNow developers, administrators, and implementation teams.
  • Support solution troubleshooting, performance optimization, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure successful delivery of ServiceNow projects through technical oversight, quality assurance, and adherence to established best practices.

Qualifications

  • Active Secret or Top Secret (TS) security clearance required at the time of award.
  • ServiceNow Certified Master Architect (CMA) certification required.
  • Minimum 8+ years of experience leading enterprise platform architecture, solution design, and implementation efforts within complex organizations.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting Department of War (DoW) or Federal Government programs and environments.
  • Extensive expertise designing, implementing, and governing ServiceNow solutions across multiple platform modules, including IT Service Management (ITSM), IT Operations Management (ITOM), Human Resources Service Delivery (HRSD), and Customer Service Management (CSM).
  • Deep knowledge of ServiceNow platform architecture, development standards, governance frameworks, and best practices.
  • Experience leading technical teams, providing architectural oversight, and mentoring developers, administrators, and implementation personnel.
  • Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, stakeholder engagement, and technical communication skills.
