Introduction

The Project Manager is accountable for the planning, governance, commercial management, and execution oversight required to successfully deliver complex enterprise transformation initiatives. This role serves as the central point of accountability for schedule, scope, risks, dependencies, vendor commitments, and stakeholder alignment throughout the program lifecycle. The Project Manager owns the "how" and the "when" of delivery, ensuring workstreams remain coordinated, risks are proactively managed, and program objectives are achieved on time and within budget.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 7 years of project or program management experience delivering enterprise technology initiatives.
• Demonstrated success leading complex, cross-functional transformation programs from initiation through implementation.
• Strong experience developing project plans, governance structures, and workstream models.
• Proven ability to manage RAID logs, dependency mapping, and formal change control processes.
• Experience drafting, negotiating, and managing Statements of Work and vendor contracts.
• Excellent stakeholder management and executive communication skills.
• Experience presenting to steering committees and senior leadership.
• Ability to influence technical and business stakeholders without direct authority.
• Prior work experience at client or in client's Industry

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

• Healthcare payer experience.
• Experience delivering ServiceNow, ITSM, or enterprise platform implementations.
• PMP, PgMP, PMI-ACP, SAFe, or equivalent project management certification.
• Experience operating in a two-in-the-box delivery model.
• Knowledge of HIPAA, PHI, and healthcare regulatory requirements.
• Experience with vendor selection, sourcing, and commercial negotiations.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Develop, baseline, and maintain integrated project plans.
• Define phases, milestones, critical path activities, and resource requirements.
• Monitor progress against plan and implement corrective actions when needed.
• Facilitate project mobilization and transition into implementation.
• Maintain a comprehensive RAID (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies) register.
• Identify, assess, and manage project risks and mitigation plans.
• Track cross-functional dependencies and proactively escalate blockers.
• Drive issue resolution with accountable owners and stakeholders.
• Draft and manage Statements of Work (SoWs).
• Partner with Procurement, Legal, and vendors to finalize commercial agreements.
• Manage scope, deliverables, acceptance criteria, and change control processes.
• Monitor vendor performance and ensure delivery commitments are met.
• Establish governance frameworks, meeting cadences, and escalation paths.
• Develop stakeholder maps and maintain executive engagement.
• Facilitate steering committee meetings and executive status reviews.
• Produce clear, executive-level communications and reporting.
• Define workstreams, ownership structures, and accountability models.
• Coordinate activities across business, technical, and vendor teams.
• Maintain decision logs, action registers, and implementation readiness plans.
• Ensure alignment between strategic objectives and day-to-day delivery activities.
