About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced ServiceNow Developer to join their team of 18 individuals, with a focus on automation. As a key member of their team, you will be responsible for configuring core ServiceNow modules, writing JavaScript, XML, HTML, SQL, and PowerShell scripts, and designing applications that meet business goals and objectives. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and automate change work, ensuring seamless integration with existing solutions and a high level of quality and stability.
Job at a glance:- Location: Onsite in Pittsburgh PA, Cleveland OH area, Dallas, TX, Birmingham, AL, or Phoenix AZ.
- Initial 6 month contract with probably extensions
Responsibilities:
- Develop and automate solutions using ServiceNow modules, workflows, and business rules
- Configure core ServiceNow modules, including workflows, business rules, script includes, UI actions, UI policies, ACLs, dictionary, record producers, catalog items, and updates of existing solutions
- Write JavaScript, XML, HTML, SQL, and PowerShell scripts to support automation and integration
- Design and build applications that meet business goals and objectives
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and automate change work
- Ensure seamless integration with existing solutions and a high level of quality and stability
Requirements:
- Experience configuring core ServiceNow modules, including workflows, business rules, script includes, UI actions, UI policies, ACLs, dictionary, record producers, catalog items, and updates of existing solutions
- Familiarity with writing JavaScript, XML, HTML, SQL, and PowerShell scripts
- Proficiency in Agile methodologies and version control systems, with experience with Jira a plus
- Technical savvy and ability to design and build applications that meet business goals and objectives
- Experience in the management of all phases of the application lifecycle, including requirement gathering, design, development, testing, and deployment
- Ability to take complex end-user requirements to system requirements to code
- At least one of the following certifications: Certified Application Developer (CAD), Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS), or Certified System Administrator (CSA)
- Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience as a ServiceNow Developer, including experience with ServiceNow platform versions such as New York, Orlando, Paris, Quebec, or later
- Experience with Ansible/AWX/AWX Tower a plus
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience with Ansible/AWX/AWX Tower
- Familiarity with Service-Oriented Architecture and web services integration (SOAP, WSDL, REST)
