Determine when to use out-of-box capabilities, configuration, scoped applications, or approved extensions.
Design REST/SOAP integrations and data exchanges with NSF grant-management and enterprise systems.
Define logging, audit, reporting, retention, and monitoring approaches.
Lead architecture reviews and resolve cross-cutting technical issues.
Guide release, update-set/source-control, CI/CD, and production deployment practices.
Support security authorization, performance testing, disaster recovery, and operational transition planning
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer information systems, electrical engineering, math, or equivalent technical studies (required).
10+ years of professional experience, with at least 3 years in an Agile environment.
Expert knowledge of ServiceNow platform architecture and ICM or comparable case-management solutions.
Deep experience with App Engine, Flow Designer, IntegrationHub, Workspace/UI Builder, ACLs, ATF, and reporting.
Strong understanding of scoped application design, data modeling, upgrade-safe configuration, and platform governance.
Experience designing federal integrations using REST, SOAP, OAuth, MID Server, and secure data-transfer patterns.
Knowledge of NIST RMF, FedRAMP, audit logging, encryption, records management, and least privilege.
Ability to evaluate technical tradeoffs and communicate architecture decisions to technical and executive audiences.
Experience leading code/design reviews and mentoring technical teams.
CSA; CAD; CIS-ITSM or other relevant CIS credentials
