About the Services Evangelist Team:

The Proofpoint Services Evangelist team are collaborative team players who are always willing to share their winning sales tactics with their peers. Services Evangelists at Proofpoint have a direct impact on the success of our overall organization by augmenting our best-in-class technologies with our innovative programmatic approach to customer success. Our evangelists are trusted partners, working side-by-side with our Field, Territory and Enterprise Account Managers to increase our services attach rate globally. About the Role:

Seeking an experienced and dynamic Services Evangelist to focus on how to build successful programs to Protect People and Defend Data by optimizing Proofpoint's world-class technology solutions globally. This role will lead presales conversations, strategy sessions, and value propositions for organizations looking to operationalize Proofpoint technology solutions. You will use your deep knowledge and experience to advise customers on how they can combine people, process, and technology to achieve their Cybersecurity objectives. This individual will be a major contributor to our aggressive plans regarding market share and positioning holistic programs to solve complex problems in the Cybersecurity space.

Your day-to-day:

• As a critical member of the Proofpoint Services Evangelist team, engage with both current customers and prospective customers in person (occasionally), by phone, and/or video conference, at your discretion.
• Conduct and lead services value conversations with internal team members as well as customers and prospects.
• Build rapport, trust and credibility with Proofpoint teammates and customers, as they will rely on your expertise and advise how to plan and move forward with major Cybersecurity initiatives.
• You may be called upon to assist in presenting in webinars and Proofpoint customer-accuracy events.
• You will be able to provide valuable customer insight and real-world experiences to services leadership and will have influence in service design, go-to-market strategy, and pricing.
• You will be an expert on Email Security, Security Awareness Training, Information Protection, and Cloud Security.
• You will have the chance to use your judgement, share your ideas and form lasting relationships and experiences that will help shape the next steps in your professional journey.

What You Bring to The Team

• 10+ years of experience in managed services sales or delivery, former executive or practitioner who planned or implemented Email Threat Protection, Information Protection, or Cloud Security programs. • Strong executive level presentation and communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Strong background in a wide range of Cybersecurity including current advanced threats, threat protection, data protection, cloud security, malware protection and/or incident response. • Must be organized, detail and process oriented
• Must be a self-starter with the ability to work independently or in a team environment
• You enjoy working with people and helping them solve their problems.
• Comfort leading open, collaborative conversations.
• A track record of success presenting to / educating field sales, SEs, and customers.
• Rigorous organizational skills
• Security certifications such as CISSP are strongly preferred.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets as set out below. Pay within these ranges varies and depends on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The actual offer will be based on the individual candidate. The range provided may represent a candidate range and may not reflect the full range for an individual tenured employee. This role may be eligible for variable compensation and/or equity. We offer a competitive benefits package, including flexible time off, a comprehensive well-being program with two paid Wellbeing Days and two paid Volunteer Days per year, plus a three-week Work from Anywhere option.

Base Pay Ranges:

SF Bay Area, New York City Metro Area:

Base Pay Range: 245,400.00 - 337,370.00 USD

California (excludes SF Bay Area), Colorado, Connecticut, Illinois, Washington DC Metro, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Texas, Washington, Virginia, and Alaska:

Base Pay Range: 197,100.00 - 271,040.00 USD

All other cities and states excluding those listed above:

Base Pay Range: 177,500.00 - 244,090.00 USD
