We are seeking a reliable and hands-on Set Up Operator to join our client’s growing team in Macedonia, OH. If you enjoy working with machinery, take pride in producing quality parts, and are looking for a stable, full-time opportunity with room for growth, this role could be perfect for you.

In this position, you will be responsible for preparing manufacturing equipment for production based on schedules, completing machine setups efficiently, and operating machinery to meet customer order deadlines. You’ll troubleshoot minor issues, adhere to all safety and quality standards, and perform inspections to ensure parts meet quality requirements. Hours:
Monday–Friday
7:00 AM – 3:30 PM

Pay:
$22.00 per hour, $23.00 per hour once hired in

Key Responsibilities:

• Locate tooling prior to setup and return tooling to storage after production
• Set up and tear down tooling and fixtures on designated machines as directed
• Inspect and verify tooling and equipment before setup and after production completion
• Create and update processing recipes for future setups
• Operate forming and CNC trimming machinery to meet daily production targets
• Load raw materials and submit first pieces for QC approval
• Perform in-process and final inspections, including 100% inspection of materials and finished goods
• Review work orders, work instructions, and drawings for accuracy
• Communicate issues to supervisors and assist with troubleshooting
• Support scrap reduction efforts and process improvements
• Provide break relief for production operators as needed
• Follow safety, PPE, and production protocols
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Follow emergency shutdown procedures and notify leads upon task completion

Minimum Requirements:

• Previous experience in manufacturing, machine operation, or setup preferred
• Ability to read and follow instructions, work orders, and basic drawings
• Strong attention to detail and quality focus
• Ability to stand for full shifts and lift up to 50 lbs
• Reliable attendance and adherence to safety guidelines
• Basic math and measurement skills

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience with tooling, fixtures, and machine adjustments
• Forklift or tow motor certification (preferred but not required)

Preferred Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Prior manufacturing or machine setup experience preferred

Other Requirements:

• On-site work in Macedonia, OH
• Ability to use hand tools and operate production equipment
• Willingness to follow all safety and PPE guidelines
