Job Summary:

Roseville Area Schools is seeking dedicated Special Education Paraprofessionals to support elementary-age students, grades 4-6, in the BEAM (Building Essential Adaptive Mindsets) program at Parkview Center School. This role involves providing academic, behavioral, and social-emotional support to students in a specialized learning environment, as well as supervising lunch and recess.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist students with academic tasks, accommodations, and modifications as directed by licensed staff.
• Support students in developing self-regulation, social, and adaptive skills within the BEAM program.
• Implement behavior support strategies and interventions to foster student success.
• Supervise students during lunch and recess, ensuring a safe and positive environment.
• Collaborate with teachers and other staff members to create an inclusive and supportive learning space.
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to district policies and procedures.

Qualifications: Special Education paraprofessionals must possess 60 semester credits or 90 quarter credits of study from an institution of higher education or an AA, AS, AAS (or higher) degree, OR must provide a passing score on the MN ParaPro Test or ParaEducator Assessment. Compensation: Starting salary range is $17.95 - $20.25 per hour, plus a district contribution toward insurance. Special Education paraprofessionals have the opportunity to earn an additional $2.00 per hour for completing online district Special Education training.
