Our client, a nationally recognized plaintiff's law firm, has an immediate opening for an experienced Settlement Administrator to join their growing Houston-area office.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Audit and reconcile case expenses to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate settlement disbursement statements.
  • Request, track, and organize updated statements for client files.
  • Communicate with clients daily to provide updates and address inquiries.
  • Monitor and update Settlement team regarding documents sent, received, or outstanding.
  • Assist with special projects and initiatives as assigned
  • Perform general administrative duties, including document management and data entry.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with ability to handle sensitive client matters.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to resolve issues proactively.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Experience with QuickBooks preferred.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • 5-7 years of experience in a plaintiff injury firm with a focus on settlements.
