This opportunity is ideal for an attorney with a background in litigation, employment law, or personal injury who is interested in transitioning into a more settlement-focused and administrative role.The firm represents employees throughout California in complex employment matters, including wage & hour, PAGA, discrimination, retaliation, harassment, and class action litigation. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing settlement-related responsibilities from negotiation through administration and final resolution.This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney seeking a long-term role with strong work-life balance potential while remaining closely involved in meaningful plaintiff-side litigation matters.General ResponsibilitiesManage settlement-related matters from negotiation through resolution and administrationCommunicate regularly with clients, opposing counsel, settlement administrators, and internal staff regarding settlement status and requirementsCoordinate and oversee settlement timelines, deadlines, and required documentationReview and assist with settlement agreements, releases, and supporting settlement documentationMonitor court filings, proposed orders, and settlement approval processesCoordinate with accounting and operations staff regarding settlement distributions and related financial trackingProvide strategic input regarding settlement structure, negotiations, and resolution strategyAssist with ensuring timely client communications, execution of agreements, and settlement disbursementsPreparation ResponsibilitiesDraft and revise settlement agreements for employment litigation matters, including wage & hour and PAGA claimsPrepare settlement-related filings, declarations, proposed orders, and supporting documentationDraft motions for preliminary and final approval in class and representative actions, when applicablePrepare dismissal documents, amended orders, and settlement administration materialsCoordinate with settlement administrators regarding class notices, timelines, and administration requirementsAssist with settlement calculations, distributions, and resolution documentationQualificationsActive California Bar license in good standingMinimum of 2 years of litigation experience in employment law, personal injury, or civil litigationExperience with settlements, mediation, or litigation resolution strongly preferredPrior plaintiff-side employment litigation experience is a plus, but not requiredStrong organizational skills and attention to detailAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentComfortable working collaboratively with attorneys, staff, and clientsPreferred SkillsExperience handling California employment-related settlements, including wage & hour and PAGA mattersBilingual skills are a plus, but not requiredProficiency with Filevine, GSuite, Microsoft Office, Adobe, Excel, or similar legal software platformsWhy JoinJoin a highly regarded plaintiff-side employment firm with a collaborative team environment and a strong reputation throughout California.
