We are seeking a detail-oriented and knowledgeable Settlement Officer to join our team. Duties

• Oversee the closing process for real estate transactions, ensuring all documents are prepared and executed correctly.

• Conduct thorough reviews of contracts, loan documents, and settlement statements to ensure compliance with TILA and Fair Housing regulations.
• Maintain accurate records of transactions and ensure timely disbursement of funds.

• Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to mortgage servicing and escrow.

Experience

• Previous experience in a settlement officer or similar role is preferred.
• Familiarity with escrow processes and basic math skills are essential for this position.
• Experience working as a settlement officer is required.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills are critical for success in this role.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
